Delete your NotifyBD account

How to ask for deletion

This applies to NotifyBD on the web (app.notify.bd) and the NotifyBD Android app (bd.notify.app) — it is the same account.

1. Email info@rampsbd.com with the subject Delete my NotifyBD account.
2. Send it from the email address of your NotifyBD account, and include your username (shown on the Profile page of the app), so we can confirm that the account is yours. If your account has no email address, include your username and the phone number on the account; we may ask you to confirm from inside the app.
3. We confirm by email and delete the account within 7 days. Once deleted it cannot be restored.

In the app you can find this page from Profile → Delete my account. If your account was created by a provider (a business that gave you NotifyBD), you can also ask your provider to delete it.

Want to keep the account but remove only some data? You can delete reminders, monitors and notifications yourself in the app, or email us to delete specific data without closing the account.

What is deleted

Everything that belongs to the account, in one step:

• Your account details: name, username, email address, phone number, password hash, language and time zone.
• Your reminders and their history, your monitors with their check results and outages, and your inbox.
• Channels you own (with their members and broadcasts) and your memberships in other channels.
• Your wallet: balance, transactions and payments.
• Sign-in and activity records, and the phone and browser sign-ins used for notifications.

Any unused wallet balance is lost when the account is deleted — please ask for a refund before asking for deletion.

What is kept, and for how long

• Database backups still contain the old data for up to 14 days, until they are replaced automatically. Backups are only used to recover from a failure.
• Records in other people's accounts stay, without the link to you: for example a provider's record of a top-up it gave you, or an admin's delivery log.
• Anonymous usage analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase) are not linked to your name or email and expire under our retention setting (up to 14 months).
